Mammography Specialists Medical Group is pleased to announce New Digital Mammography in Los Gatos Office.

Dr. Ralph Smathers founded the Mammography Specialists Medical Group (MSMG), Inc. in 1992. Dr. Smathers recognized the vital role of highest quality imaging services including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast biopsy and DXA osteoporosis scanning in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Over the years the clinic's mission has remained the same- to make quality images of the body that help the radiologist and the patient's physician effectively diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions.

At MSMG, we understand that women have special health concerns. Our clinic is dedicated to focusing on those unique needs in a warm and welcoming environment where it's easy to relax and feel at home. Technologists take the time to explain exactly what the patient can expect during a test.

The American Cancer Society and the American College of Radiology recommend women begin routine annual mammography at age 40. Ask your Primary Care physician if you are uncertain about your mammogram or DXA osteoporosis scanning recommendation.
